Photographer : These photographs were taken by Jim Crosthwaite on a visit ortganised by Network Rail in November 2024. Jim is a board member of the Dumbarton Stations Improvement Trust.
Event : The visit was arranged to discuss The Access for All (AFA) scheme for Scotland’s Railway which delivers step free access at nominated stations. Dumbarton Central Station has been nominated to receive attention during the 2024 to 2029 period. At this point, it is not known if and how these lower areas can be so utilised.
