This old post office building is dated 1904. It is a single storey building, rectangular in plan post office and has some Baronial details. The frontage is of squared and snecked sandstone with ashlar margins and dressings. The sides are of brick.
It sits between the Vale of Leven Constitutional Club and the railway underpass. Although now a little isolated, they work together as a pair of interesting and aesthetically pleasing buildings.
It now houses a dental practice.
