DUNGLASS CASTLE : May 2025
In May 2025 the Dumbarton Cine Video and Digital Club recorded Dunglass Castle from the air by drone, as well as the progress on the redevelopment of what had been the EXXON site.

It is very evident that efforts to preserve this castle need to be seen holistically. What we generally refer to as Dunglass Castle is actually a site on a promontory jutting into the Clyde that has several important components. This is discussed further in the main page as per the link above. It could become a major attraction within West Dunbartonshire with history, art and environmental significance.......... or it can succumb to abandonment and decay.
