HALKETT CRESCENT PARK, Alexandria.
ACCESS : Easy access from Halkett Crescent. It is also accessible from Burns Street via a footbridge over the railway. This is an impediment to cyclists, but once over that you can proceed through the park and across the Stuckie Bridge over the Leven or down to the towpath alongside the Leven. This latter is also accessible via Heather Avenue which goes down to near the barrage and boat clubs.

This is a pleasant park in four parts separated by housing and through roads. Although planting is minimal, it makes a pleasant place to sit or walk through. Even though part of it are overlooked by housing, it retains a sense of seclusion. That same overviews add some degree of security.
The covered seats and the strategically placed boulders give it a small hint of Japanese gardens.
