TULLICHEWAN BURIAL GROUND, Alexandria.
ACCESS : To the side of Christie Park.
Right behind Tullichewan South Lodge and to the side of Christie Park are some trees. These are not actually part of the park, but appear so. If you walk here you may just make out some stones that appear to be tombstones. There is almost nothing to see.
This is known as Tullichewan Burial Ground. It is apparently ancient, but no one is sure of its connections.
OK. You cannot see the graves for the trees. But it is nevertheless a part of the local Vale history.
