This is an impressive aquarium housed in a tall modern stone building reminescent of an ancient Scottish broch. It has a variety of fish and other water creatures from sea horses to otters.
There is a shop at the ground floor. Take a lift to the top floor where there is a cafe and grand views up the loch to Ben Lomond.
As with the ancient brochs, there is a stairway that encircles the building. Perhaps easier coming down that going up.
A good place to take the family.
