UNIDENTIFIED FERNS.
This is a sort of holding area until some ferns are properly identified. They can be challenging in that characteristics can be so similar and they also change as they grow. Any advice and opinions will be appreciated.
FERN ONE
This is a 2 pinnate pinnatifid fern. It may be an immature bracken, but to confirm that we will have to see how it develops. At this time, mid-May, it looks much like any other except for its frond form.
FERN TWO
This pinnate fern looks very much like a hard fern, but the "leafs" on the fronds are more spaced and have more rounded ends.
