Highland Scots - Frasers from Inverness & area:
Fraser (Inchberry)
William Fraser held the lands of Inchberry in the parish of Kirkill, near Inverness. In 1802 an unnamed brother was in Guyana, where he had a coffee estate. This unnamed Fraser was credited by Donald Mackay, from Inverness, with having saved his life during a bout of fever – but Fraser was now himself in poor health and would return to Europe, leaving the estate to be managed by Patrick Grant.
