- A. 6.B-1/JUL21 - Diffibrylydd - Cadarnhaodd y Cyng Philip Gibbons bod arwydd Cwm Morgan bellach i fyny mewn 3 lle a dywedodd bod 3 person yng Nghwm Morgan wedi dweud eu bod yn hapus gyda’r arwydd. Diolchodd y Cadierydd y Cyng. Hazel Evans a Ken Howell am eu gwaith.

- E. 10.A-12/MAY - Coeden rhwng y Ganolfan a Maes Gwyn - Dywedodd y Cadeirydd ei fod wedi cael Adroddiad wrth Paul Toft, yn ddyddiedig 13/3/23 yn datgan bod ‘potential risk’ wedi iddo wneud archwiliad ar y goeden. Dywedodd y Cadeirydd ei fod ef a’r Cyng. Don Griffiths wedi bod allan hefyd a bod gwifrau trydan yn mynd heibio’r goeden a byddai angen cael ‘Cherry Picker’. Cynnigodd y Cyng Meurig THomas o bosib byddai angen i’r cwmni trydan ddod allan i dorri’r goeden a gwirio bod popeth yn mynd yn iawn. Dywedodd y Cadeirydd bod Paul Toft wedi datgan bod ‘Ash Dieback’ ar bob coeden ond doedd e ddim wedi rhoi amcan pris am y gwaith. Dywedodd y Cyng Pat THomas bod y coed yn beryglus a gofynnodd pwy fyddai’n atebol pe bai damwain yn digwydd. Dywedodd y Cyng. Don Griffiths bod angen i berchnogion Maes Gwyn weld copi o’r adroddiad. - C. Ebost 1/4/23 wrth y Cyng. Hazel Evans yn gofyn am gyfraniad at apêl Eisteddfod Llanymddyfri 2023. Dywedodd y CYng. Philip Gibbons ei fod yn hynod bwysig cefnogi’r achos. Eiliodd y CYng. Hywel Bowen hyn a cynnigodd £200. Cytunwyd ar y ffigwr hyn.

11. SYLWADAU CYNGHORWYR -
- A. Dywedodd y Cadeirydd bod toiledau ochr yr heol yng Nghenarth heb eu hagor ar gyfer y tymor. Dyweodd y Cyng. Hazel Evans eu bod i fod ar agor rhwng Ebrill a Medi.
- B. Dyweodd y Cadeirydd ei fod wedi bod lawr ym maes picinic Cenarth i lanhau’r meinciau a bod sbwriel ym mhob man. Dywedodd bod y llwybrau bellach yn glir a’r meinciau wedi’u glanhau. Dywedodd bod y meinciau braidd yn beryglus gan bod y sgriwiau wedi dod yn rhydd mewn rhai mannau.
- C. Datganodd y Cadeirydd ei fod wedi mynychu cyfarfod ‘League of Friends’ yn ddiweddar a’i fod yn Ymddiriedolwr fel cynrhychiolydd i Gyngor Cymuned Cenarth. Datganodd bod y gwaith mae’r ‘League of Friends’ yn gwneud yn dda.

APRIL 2023 MEETING
Minutes of the meeting held at the Center, Capel Iwan on Thursday, 6th April 2022 at 7.00 pm.
1. PRESENT: In the Chair - Cllr. Nigel Williams, Councillors: Cllr. Hazel Evans, Don Griffiths, Pat Thomas, William Davies, Phillip
Gibbons, Cllr. Ken Howell, Hywel Bowen, Meurig Thomas and Jeff Kedward PCSO.Clerc - Manon Thomas.
2. APOLOGIES: Cllr. Guto Jones, Anthony John and RIchard James.
3. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST: None
4. POLICE:
- A. Jeff Kedward PCSO apologized for not being at a meeting for a long time.
- B. Jeff Kedward PCSO declared that not much had happened in the ward. The Chairman said that this was good news.
- C. Jeff Kedward PCSO said that a group of young people in Newcastle Emlyn had been going around and breaking the windows of empty buildings including the Council building in Adpar.
- D. He wished the Councilors a Happy Easter.
5. MINUTES: Minutes for the February 2023 Meeting were proposed by Cllr. Meurig Thomas and Seconded by Cllr. Don Griffiths.
6. MATTERS ARISING FOR MINUTES:
- A. 6.B-1 / JUL - Defibrillator - Cllr Philip Gibbons confirmed that the Cwm Morgan sign is now up in 3 places and said that 3 people in Cwm Morgan said they were happy with the sign. The Chairman thanked Cllr. Hazel Evans and Ken Howell for their work.
- B. 11.8-1/JUL21 - Capel Iwan Kiosk - Cllr declared. Hywel Bowen that it is worth asking the County Council once again about this.
- C. 10.A-3/MAR - Winjen Thank You Plaque - The Chairman declared that the sign had now arrived and the Councilors were happy with it. He said it was necessary to speak to the hall committee about putting up the sign. Cllr proposed. Hywel Bowen to put a wooden frame around the sign.
- D. 11.B-7/APR - Hole in the road between Glannant and Clos Glas - No update.
- E. 10.A-12/MAY - Tree between the Center and Maes Gwyn - The Chairman said that he had received a Report from Paul Toft, dated 13/3/23 stating that there was a 'potential risk' after he had carried out an inspection on the tree. The Chairman said that he and Cllr. Don Griffiths has also been out and that electric wires go past the tree and it would be necessary to have a Cherry Picker. Cllr Meurig THomas proposed that the electricity company might need to come out to cut the tree and check that everything is going well. The Chairman said that Paul Toft had stated that there was Ash Dieback on every tree but he had not given a price estimate for the work. Cllr Pat THomas said that the trees were dangerous and asked who would be liable if an accident occurred. Cllr said. Don Griffiths that the owners of Maes Gwyn need to see a copy of the report. It was agreed that the Clerk would contact SSE Swalec as a starting point.

- I. 10..F-12/MAY - Road between Tŷ Cerrig and Brohedydd - No update.
- J. 10.A-4/NOV - Road between Penrheol Isaf and Derlwyn - No update.
- K. 10.B-4/NOV - Phone Lines Between Penrheol Isaf and Derlwyn -No update.
- L. 10.B-2/FEB - Recycling Bins - Cllr said. William Davies who still had not received a glass recycling box.
7. CORRESPONDENCE:
- A. Email 10/3/23 and 4/4/23 to Amanda Edwards County Council - Seeking an opinion about deconstructing the Cenarth Community Council ward. It was agreed that the Clerk would contact her to confirm that we should keep everything as they are at the moment.
- B. Invitation of the Commissioner of Police.
- C. Email 1/4/23 to Cllr. Hazel Evans asking for a contribution to the Llanymdoverry Eisteddfod appeal 2023. The CYng said. Philip Gibbons that it is extremely important to support the cause. The CY seconded. It was Hywel Bowen who offered £200. This figure was agreed.

10. MATTERS NEEDING DISCUSSION
- A. The Chairman declared that there had been a landslide near the Senataff and that the County Council needed to come out to clear the path.
- B. Cllr declared. Don Griffiths that Simon Davies, Penrheol Isaf argues that he is not responsible for cutting the trees over the road. Cllr declared. Hazel Evans that he is responsible for this.
- C. Cllr said. William Davies that the Glynderw dyke is out over the road.
- D. Cllr asked. DOn Griffiths if the pasture cutter needs a service this year.
- E. Cllr said. Pat Thomas that the Dolau dyke is out over the road and that there is a bad hole in the road.
- F. Cllr Pat THomas said there were bad potholes in the road near Cilwaunydd Fawr.
- G. Cllr said. Pat Thomas that trees have fallen across the Godremamog path.
- H. Cllr said. Hywel Bowen that water near Bwlchcaebrith road is getting worse. Cllr said. Hazel Evans that this is because there are no thorns there.
11. COUNCILLORS’ COMMENTS -
- A. The Chairman said that the roadside toilets in Cenarth had not been opened for the season. Cllr said. Hazel Evans that they are to be open between April and September.
- B. The Chairman said that he had been down in the Cenarth picnic area to clean the benches and that there was rubbish everywhere. He said the paths were now clear and the benches had been cleaned. He said the benches were a bit dangerous as the screws had come loose in some places.
- C. The Chairman declared that he had recently attended a 'League of Friends' meeting and that he was a Trustee as a representative of Cenarth Community Council. He declared that the work the 'League of Friends' is doing well.
12. NEXT MEETING - The next meeting along with the AGM will be held on the 11th of May. The Meeting ended at 8:15pm.
