Thomas Duncan

On 24 April 1806, in Edinburgh, Thomas Duncan Esq of Demerara married Miss Helen Grant, daughter of the late John Grant Esq of Kincardine O'Neil [Scots Magazine, 1806]. This is probably the Thomas Duncan from Coxton, near Elgin, who died in Demerara on 6 May 1821 [Scotsman newspaper].

He may have been related to the Duncan family associated with the Cumings of Craigmiln.
