Dunlop (Colin & James)

In 1811, a Colin Douglas was resident in Demerara, at the premises of Henry Tulloh in Georgetown. [E&DRG 23 Feb 1811]

In 1813 a James Dunlop took over the business of H E Lemmex in Georgetown, sellig a variety of imported goods. [E&DRG 4 May 1813]

In 1822 there is a reference to Halket, Dunlop & Co and also to Mr and Mrs Dunlop in the colony [Guiana Chronicle & Demerara Gazette, 3 June 1822].

It is not known if these individuals are related.
