Hugh Junor (Upper Kincurdy)

Hugh Junor, the son of John Junor and Christian Junor, was baptised 27 Aug 1796 in Rosemarkie [GROS 080/00 0010 0012] and died aged 30 in Berbice [gravestone in Rosemarkie kirkyard]. The gravestone identifies his father as 'farmer in Upper Kincurdy'.

The executors of his estate were Baillie Chisholm and A B Gillis [London Gazette, 1832]. He may be the same Hugh Junor, carpenter, who was indentured to Messrs Cameron in 1823. The indenture was drawn up in Fortrose (NAS CS96/972).
