'Never had a better' an ancient farming family traces their pedigree back 1000 years

The book is priced at £12.95
It is available online from www.annbowes.co.uk and also www.isds.org.uk
I suggest that to give Ryedale members a good deal I would bring some copies to a trial - hopefully my mother would come along too. In doing this they would save on postage and could have a copy signed by us both. I could probably come to the Egton trial on 19th October. What do you think?
Hoping you can stir up a bit of trade!
Regards,
Andrew Heaton

The lineage of Allan G Heaton, respected sheepdog trial enthusiast and Yorkshire farmer, can be traced back 1000 years. This story uncovers the people, places and historical events that made him who he was. From the early Viking origins to settling down in Bronte country, the story explores how the family fortunes fluctuated from the heights of influence as medieval knights to the depths of life in the Workhouse. A family whose loyalty cannot be questioned, prepared to forfeit their lives for King and country, and give their unselfish support to any causes that they believed in.
