Week 27 - Second Fix Electrics

Monday 23rd February Brian & Shug complete the blocks on the third side of the building.	Tuesday 24th February The joiners complete their work (for a while) when they finish framing the last of the wardrobes. This prompts Jerry to embark on a huge site tidy-up (2 trailer loads of plasterboard and 20 bags of assorted rubbish).
Wednesday 25th February Jerry makes a start on fitting the backing boxes for the electrical sockets and switches in No.6.	Thursday 26th February The backing boxes are completed in No.6.
Friday 27th February We have window cills. The builders* fit the window cills to the ground floor front and gable ends, and they look really good!	Friday 27th February The scaffolders return to site - this time to errect a gantry which will allow the builders to complete the chimney on No.6 and then the roofers will follow to close off the roof. We are nearly ready to 'top-out' - queue for a party?

* Please note that any suggestion a joiner is capable of the difficult and intricate job of fitting a window cill is entirely wrong - as everyone is only too well aware this job needs to be tackeld by a builder! Apologies  for any confusion or distress that may have been caused.
