Week 25 - Finish Plasterboard & Stairs

Monday 9th February Heavy snow and serious sub-zero temperatures prevent any building work taking place, but the joiners plough on regardless upstairs in No.5.	Tuesday 10th February More freezing conditions but again the joiners make progress by finishing upstairs and moving downstairs for the last of the plasterboard. Here Jonathan puts the finishing touches to the fitted wardrobe in Bedroom 2. The taper returns to seal up more seams in No.6 and Jerry makes a start on the wiring in the Old Barns (with the help of Dave and his nine remaining digits!).

As we are going away on holiday in the Borders, the next update will not be until Monday 23rd February.

We hope that the stairs will be in place and most of the initial taping, filling and sealing will be completed by then. Also, if the weather ever lets up Brian and Shug may have completed the block work and looking to start on the harling.
