Tuesday 11th NovemberLining boards and surrounds fitted to dormer windows - we also continue with the fire stops (boring!). | Wednesday 12th NovemberSpent the day fitting 'ridge rolls' on to the five apex's of the roof - these round bits of wood act as the formers for the lead ridges which protect and seal the slates. The roofer also came to site to mark out the roof, but they will not start in earnest until next Monday. |

Thursday 13th NovemberWe take delivery of lots of insulation for the party wall and coombes. | Thursday 13th NovemberAs well as finishing some smaller jobs (the fire stops!!, covering the windows with polythene, etc.) the joiners quickly get to work fitting some insulation. |

Friday 14th NovemberOur first plasterboard is fitted (two layers of 15mm sheets actually, to create a fireproof barrier between the houses). | |
