Pennies for Heaven:Neath Methodist Church Centenary Celebrated
A centenary exhibition including 100 years of photographs, a display of old wedding dresses, and a launch of a book Pennies for Heaven was held in the Neath Methodist Church, known locally as the 'Penny-Brick Church' a reminder of how the funds were gathered to build this worship place at Stockham's Corner. It was originally known as Windsor Square Methodist Church because it was on the square formed by the meeting of five roads, Lewis Road, Eastland Road, Briton Ferry Road, London Road, and Windsor Road.
