The Gnoll Classic Car Show 11th Aug 2013
Report by Mike Davies
The weather turned out sunny and warm for the Gnoll classic car show at the Gnoll country park Neath, which was hosted by the Skewen Motor Club for their chosen charity which was Park house Port Talbot. The charity which supports disabled children & their families by providing residential short- break services for the youngsters.
The crowds arrived in their hundreds, of all ages who enjoyed viewing these spectacular vintage vehicles all in pristine condition,
It brought memories flooding back for me as I am sure it did for many, as my first car was a 1947 Ford Popular with a 6 volt battery with air vacuum wipers and rod brakes. It was shared between myself and my twin brother, having passed our test on the same day back in 1961.
Great fun-- great days---great memories-- pioneering days indeed.
Here is a video slide show of the Vintage Car Show - it will bring back many memories of cars you may have owned in years gone by.
