Hello ... Please allow me to introduce myself – my name is Marie Elves and I work with Marie Curie Cancer Care in the Treks and Cycles Team.

As I’m sure you’re aware, Marie Curie provides trained nurses who care for those suffering from cancer in their own homes and is a cause that is very close to many people’s hearts. We cannot continue, however, without our generous supporters and we are currently trying to attract new participants for our UK Mountain Challenge Treks, particularly Snowdon. It is a great way to challenge yourself, keep fit and make new friends, all whilst raising money for a fantastic cause.

I was wondering whether you would consider running an advert for the treks in the Neath Guardian; as a publication that is widely read in Wales.  it would be a perfect platform for us to appeal to new participants for our Snowdon trek. As a department, we do not have any budget for marketing and are therefore relying on generous offers from people such as yourself. I have attached some examples of the type of adverts we would look to run, but if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
