Tesco - new store opens at Briton Ferry

Tesco seem to be very popular with NPT council and their Planning Department.  The fourth Tesco store in the Neath area opened at Briton Ferry on -11th February 2014. On the opposite side of the road there is a Spar store - a store in direct competition.   

Other supermarkets do not seem to be favoured by the council in the same way as Tesco, or so it appears.   There are no Aldi stores and no Asda stores in the same area - despite planning applications.
