Resolven Distict News is a new website launched on 1st November 2013 and is edited by Anita Morgan (left), formerly of BBC Radio Wales. The assistant editor is Fran Jones pictured right.
Anita trained at the R.A.D.A. and worked an actress in theatre and T.V.Her first job as a broadcaster was as a roving reporter on Good Morning Wales.
She was the first voice on air when B.B.C Radio Wales was launched in 1978, presenting AM, a three hour live early morning show and in 1986 she won a Sony Award-a radio Oscar -for "Goodbye Village School " a feature about the last day in the life of a small village school.
She says being Editor at the start of a village web site is just as exciting
Resolven District News came about after a group of villagers who'd formed a Resolven Residents' Association to campaign on local issues applied for a grant to launch a web site for the whole village
