Dancing fever comes to Gwyn Hall

DANCING FEVER COMES TO GWYN HALL, NEATH

‘Salsa is a great way to make new friends and keep fit’

The Gwyn Hall will soon be the latest venue to join the craze that is sweeping the nation – salsa!

From Monday, 23 September, Dancing Fever will be bringing its salsa lessons to Neath.

The classes, which begin at 7pm and run until late, are suitable for beginners and the more experienced dancer. The evening costs £6 per person.

Hosted by experienced dance professionals, Carl and Alexandra Davies of Dancing Fever, students will be able to bring a little sunshine into their lives – whatever the weather – with the infectious Latin music.

Dancing Fever has a large community of students that show off their dancing skills at events across South Wales.

Carl said: “The good thing about salsa is you don’t need to have had any previous experience or you can have been dancing for years. It is so easy to learn and once you do, it is such an amazing, elegant dance. You can come with or without a partner or a group of friends and just have fun.

“It is a great way to meet new and interesting people and socialise and it’s a fun way to keep fit and burn off calories. It is also a good way to improve confidence and your general well-being.”

Carl and Alexandra Davies have been dancing together for almost 11 years and refined their skills at the Fred Astaire Dancing School in America.

Alexandra added: “Our students tell us our love for dancing shines through in the way we teach salsa and we hope that we can get more people to love it as much as we do.”
