Residents at Waunceirch annoyed with attitude of Post Office
For over two years residents at Waunceich have been asking their councillor for a post collection box in the area of the new shops built opposite the Waunceirch junior primary school. There were hopes that one would be installed inside the Tesco Express Store built in 2010.
Now the Post Office Executive have rejected the need for one, ignoring the terrain and the steep hill one has to climb after posting a letter. The Post Office confirm that no new post collection boxes have been added in the area for over fifty years despite hundreds of houses being built on elevated ground within the last two decades. The issue has now been passed to the Postal Review Panel.
