Knitters and Natters

Knitters and Natters are a group of ladies who meet at Glynneath
Library on Thursdays.
They have been making brightly coloured jumpers and hats for the
disadvantaged children of Africa.
These children when born, many suffering from aids are being called
''fish'n'chip babies because many are sent home from hospital wrapped in
newspaper for warmth.
The ladies at Trem-Y-Glyn and Glynneath Library members also make these
items for Knitters and Natters which are sent to Helping Hands Knitting
Group Neath who then send them to the needy children of Africa.
Between them they have made over 200 of these jumpers to date and are
still Knitting more.
