New Mayor 2013/2014

The annual NPT CBC Mayor's inauguration took place at the Princess Theatre, Port Talbot, on Friday 17th May 2013.

Cllr Marian Lewis holds the office of Mayor for the next term of office.   Cllr Lewis represents the Cwmavon ward on the NPT CBC.

The Deputy Mayor is Cllr Hugh James who represents the council's Briton Ferry ward.

Cllr Martyn Peters, the outgoing Mayor, was the first Plaid Cymru member to hold the office.  During his term he attended over 600 engagments.
