History Eye Sore

White's Folly

History was made in 2009 when a ridge top open space in Waunceirch was converted to an eye sore.   Llwyn Helyg, the official name given to the development by Waterstones, is nick named 'White's Folly' after the name of the NPT CBC Chief Planning Officer, Geoff White, who endorsed the scheme.

The site has problems and has yet to adopted by the council.   The item in the menu explains how the saga started as far back as 1999 with an effort by the council to restrict road traffic in the area.

We cannot report on the existing problems at the present time because of action that is taking place.
