Exciting end likely for current week

Saturday, 27th October 2012 will see a contrast in events in the Neath town centre.   At St David's church the Welsh Sinfonia will present conductor Gareth Jones with BBC Musician of the year, David Pyatt, in a classical concert at part of their tour of Wales.

In contrast, across the road in Victoria Gardens there will be the Halloween event.   Details of both these events are given on other pages.

More jobs coming to Neath

A full press release is published on the plan to expand the Car Trade Centre in Neath Abbey.   It seems that much will depend on the NPT CBC Planning Department.   At least, a bright future is forecast for the area.   Let's hope that this is just a start and that more good news is yet to follow.

Police and Crime Commissioner Elections

Details and nominated candidates are given on a page made especially for giving information for the forthcoming elections on Thursday, 15th November 2012.

No doubt Neath's discussion website, The Neath Ferret, will have something to say about this.   This website allows comment from those from all walks of life.
