Born Aberdeen 1939. Evacuated to Dufftown. Educated Dunoon Grammar School.
Studied Pharmacy at Heriot Watt Edinburgh. Honoured with one of the first two university blues for football.
Entered retail pharmacy with Boots the Chemists, after which I went into business privately, first in partnership, then branched out on my own with businesses, first in Leslie, then in Leven.
Retired to enter motor trade for some time, then returned to pharmacy, working as part time locum.
Past President of Kirkcaldy Round Table.
Hobbies include gardening, model boat building and motor cycling.
