Charity to Belarus

Last year, Sandy Green joined a group who regularly visit Belarus, carrying humanitarian aid in an old 'bus and a transit van.  Sandy took with him a cheque for £1000 from the club.  Upon his retunr, Sandy gave a talk on the first half of the journey - we await the second half!  Pictures and details can be found under 'Rotary Year 2009-10' - lower down the left hand index.

Now Sandy and one of his travelling companions, Monty Roberts, have donated £500 to allow a young lady doctor, Olga, to buy a scooter.  This has enabled her to visit her patients more easily. Here is a some photograph of Olga and her prized possession!
