Helping Fight Polio
Rotarian Charles Dickinson, President Ann Bain and Rotarian Gordon Wowk
More money was recently added to the Howe Rotary’s PolioPlus fund, when Gordon Wowk, a St. Andrews’ Rotarian, bought from the club a Palmer Cup 2009 flag, signed by Arnold himself. In North East Fife alone, there are six Rotary clubs, who each meeting weekly to listen to speakers on social, economic and environmental topics. Once a month, each club will discuss fund-raising projects and distribution of monies to chosen causes: local, national and international. All clubs welcome new members to the Rotary family. So anyone who is interested in helping to raise money for charity, in participating in projects to help others to help themselves, and would welcome the fellowship of others who are interested in doing the same, please contact your local Rotary Club.
