All Aboard the Skylark (Maid of the Tay)!
It was all aboard the good ship, Maid of the Tay, for members of the Rotary Club of the Howe of Fife on a recent watery outing. Under the expert captaincy of boat owner, and Rotary President, Dennis Beattie, the Maid of the Tay departed from Newburgh Quay, then followed the river after which she was named up to the Friaton Bridge and as far as the Perth docks, before returning, her cargo intact, for an onshore barbequeue.
This jolly trip marked the drawing to a close of Dennis' year as President of the Howe Rotary Club; Dennis subsequently handed over the chain of office to incoming President Rod McCall.
