Play & Plonk at Pitlair

Held on 8th August 2010.

Howe Rotarian, Charles Dickinson, and his wife, Chris, recently played host to a 'Play & Plonk' Sunday afternoon  at their Pitlair home. Over twenty Howe Rotarians and partners, divided into two teams, joined battle in light-hearted competition, playing games such as putting, Jenga, noughts-and-crosses, and many more. As well as the opportunity for a sociable afternoon, over £350 was raised for a cause chosen by the Dickinsons.  With this year being the centenary of the Girl Guide movement, it was decided the money should be distributed, according to need, among local guiding groups.
