On a rather superb Sunday afternoon many of the club members, partners and friends assembled at the home of Charles and Chris Dickinson for a day of fun in the sun. Once again Charles and Chris excelled themselves in providing us with lots of games and challenges not least the erecting of a Rotary Shelter Tent. The challenge was taken up by Jim Storrar, Amanda Fleet and Andrew Kennedy who managed to erect the tent in just under 30 minutes, not bad guys! Plenty of laughs were had when we all split into two teams for the games which included garden sized Jenga, Putting, Boule, Quoits, Snakes & Ladders, Connect 4, Dominoes and Noughts & Crosses. Chris put on a magnificent spread of Strawberry topped scones, Strawberry Pavlova and the obligatory wine by the bucket load. A fantastic time was had by all.  A total of £660 was raised, with £590 providing another Shelter Box for disaster relief with the balance going to Rotary Foundation. A huge thank you to Chris and Charles for a great day.
