A married man with two grown up children, Wilf is a retired teacher. He describes himself as someone who does not join clubs and groups, but he made an exception in the case of Rotary, after hearing of the organisation's efforts - which are ongoing - to help eradicate polio worldwide. Wilf joined the Rotary Club of the Howe of Fife in 1995 and continues to enjoy the meetings, the friendship of other members and importantly the opportunities Rotary offers to try and improve the lives of others. He considers the Howe of Fife club to be especially welcoming and friendly and commends membership to others.
