Rotary Year 2005-6

The club is once again moving into charity mode with our main fund raising project of this Rotary year, from tomorrow 25th November until December 11, members will be giving up their spare time for their annual sale of potatoes. The volunteers will be at Cupar Garden Centre and the Scottish Deer Centre every Saturday and Sunday from 1-4 pm offering 25 kg bags of Red Rooster potatoes for only 5. Fifteen tons of the potatoes, which proved a favourite last year, have been donated by Albert Bartlett & Sons to start off the scheme. Other donors are Ken Lang of Rathillet, Bob Mitchell of Strathmiglo and Peter Foster of Wormit. The Rotarians will also selling door to door from 6-8 pm in Auchtermuchty on November 30th and December 1st Strathmiglo on. December 7th and Ladybank on December 8th.
