CERRO PORTEÑO 1912 / ROSSO-BLU / RED-BLUE

i colori rappresentano i due partiti politici rivali del tempo ( il rosso per il Colorado ed il blu per il Liberale) come simbolo di unità e amicizia tra i paraguayani. Più tardi è stato aggiunto il bianco dei pantaloncini in modo da completare la bandiera nazionale / the founders of the club decided to use the colors of the rival political parties, red and blue, as the team official colors (red being the color of the Colorado Party and blue of the Liberal Party) as a symbol of unity and friendship between Paraguayans. Later, white was used on the shorts to complete the Paraguayan flag colours
