Humans with other ethnicity used as cannon fodder, then deported to their countries of origin. 11,800 of them this time are facing deportation issues. Human become issues.

The British did this with their elite troops, the Gurkhas, by giving them minimum wages, sending them to their home country, impoverished Nepal, to avoid medical and old age costs. Invalids after wars were not tolerated by the British Ministry of Defence ( MoD). Now even the French have started recruiting the Gorkhas of Nepal to do battle for the Grade Nation. It remains to be seen how they treat the Gurkhas with the same perks and citizenship as its Foreign Legion or not. The so-called first world needs soldiers from the third world to fight their dirty wars. It may be mentioned that war was never clean. It always caused and causes blood and tears to flow on both sides.

The US administration is doing the same. When the US is involved in a war, it uses security contractors to hire people from other ethnicities only to deport them when the purpose of the US Armed Forces is fulfilled. Those who die in the battlefield are the unknown soldiers. It is only in recent times that the indigenous Native Americans who fought America's wars are receiving belated and minimally recognition. They have just been ignored because they have no voice, no senators from their ethnic nations.

What a 'befitting' reward for risking and sacrificing one 's life for an unthankful nation. A nation without scruples, where soldiers are regarded as material that can be replaced and shoved around as the warlords think fit. This is the biggest misuse of ethnicity in the British and American Armed Forces.

Give them their due: free medical treatments, grant them citizenship, a good pension, show gratitude for their honesty, loyalty and engagement. Soldiers have no voice, when they protest they're court marshalled, discharged, sent home--where ever that is. Deported as human garbage. Shame on you America.
