Father, I will wait for You,
Father, for I know not what to do,
Ever looking , ever seeking, longing, desiring,
I wait to hear from You.
Holy Spirit enlighten me,
Open my eyes, that I may see,
Holy Spirit, I long to hear, what You hear,
Draw me close, forever nearer.
Holy Son, Righteous One, I cling to You,
Ever longing, to know, what it is You have for me,
Not that I seek other gifts, but I ever long to be so close,
I will see You in all of Your glory.
I give thanks, and praise to You,
Oh God, I honor and worship You,
Can I sit just longer now,
Bask in Your loving arms, like a child,
Not yet weaned, from his mother,
Oh dear God, You're not like any other.
