Because of Love, He chose to take the mockery, and hate of men,
Because of Love, He let them take their anger out on Him,
Because of Love, He took the beatings on His back,
Because of Love, He took the cross up calvary's hill,
Because of Love, all righteousness was fulfilled.
Because of Love, there was mercy, and grace,
Because of Love, we now can enter boldly unashamed,
Because of Love, we have forgiveness, and eternity with Him,
Because of Love, we have forgivness of sins.
Because of Love, He took the nails in His hands, and feet,
Because of Love, death had no hold, and He's Risen for you, and me,
Because of Love, no greater love, was this, when Mercy and Righteousness kissed,
Because of Love, Oh because of the Father's love, His wonderful Gift.
