Christmas Wings
A babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger, angels singing, hearlded rejoicing,
faces, all aglow, this is the Son of God, that the prophets foretold, a mighty deliverer, a
healer for the nations, all of God, is He, Mighty, Everlasting, Creator of creation.
Christmas came with wings, of joy, Christmas came with healing in His wings,
Christmas, Christ in you, the hope of glory, it's been the everlasting, retold story,
of God's revealed glory, never changing, the same as yesterday, and today.
Oh Christmas wings, given to you, and to me, a present no one can take, away, salvation, eternity,
Christmas wings, shepherds bowing bended knees, animals, were lowing, Christmas in our hearts,
Joyful every year, the Christ child, no longer a child, but reigning King, this Christmas, and all
year long, we hear the joyful sound, the day this Savior came with Christmas wings.
