We need to think about the things we are thankful for because when we count our blessings then the circumstances we live in won't seem so bad. A good sister in the Lord and dear friend of mine reminded me of this today. She said the Apostle Paul said I've learned whatever state I am in I've learned to be content. In the book of Philippians chapter 4 verses ll-12 11: Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned in whatsoever state I am, therewith, to be content. verse 12: I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. In 1Timothy 6:6 it says Godliness with contentment is great gain. So why do we fret over things and worry. For to worry is a sin. Jesus told His diciples not to worry about anything, that tommorrow would take care of itself. I am praying that as I am teaching this lesson here that God will show me that I need never get into worry anymore, nor fear tommorrow for He has promised to meet all of my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. When we are truly looking to Him we can be thankful and cast all of our cares on Him. The beautiful gift of praise and thanks will lift us from our troubles and stop the enemy from bringing on fear. I pray this will minister to your hearts as we think upon good things and offer a praise of thanks to our Lord. God bless you all. Lisa
