Come And See Saturday, March 1, 2008 - 7:59 PM Come and see the crowded city, the throngs are closing in, the path is strewn with palm leaves, and I hear songs of hosaanna's to Him, I see the King of Glory, riding a donkey, and all honor, is given to Him, this day, as He makes His triumphal entry, down the streets of Jerusalem this day. I hear the voices of children, dancing in the street, and each passerby is singing, to meet the Master, and to greet, with joyous crys, they laid palms of victory at His feet. I hear the desciples, preparing a feast, for the passover Lamb, and I see the Master, dining with them, and girding Himself with a towel, the Lord, becoming a humble servant, to wash the feet, of those He loved. I see Jesus dip the bread, in the same bowl of the one, that called Him a friend, and I hear Jesus say, do what you must do, for I know this time, is near it's end. I hear the cries, of that same crowd, that were shouting shouts of praise, now were crying crucify Him, this One Who calls Himself, the Ancient Of Days. On a hill far away, stood and old rugged cross, our Savior's blood, was shed, His body was ravaged by man, but there was victory, the day He died, for you, and me, and eternal salvation was secured that day on Calvary.
