Encourage yourself, like David, in the Lord,
When trials, and afflictions, come your way,
Just lift up your eyes, from whence cometh your help,
Lift your hands, to God, and praise.

For it's only in praise, when the enemy must flee,
It's our weapons of warfare, that set us free,
So if your caught up in adversities, and you know not where to turn,
Just call on Jesus, praise His name, and know He's heard.

For like Daniel, he threw open the windows, and he kneeled down,
And worshiped the King, don't care about who's listening, just give
all you've got, to the Lord Who's got everything, oh, encourage
yourself, in the Lord Who provides, all of our needs, and soon
all doubts, and gloom, and fear will flee!
