Wounded Soldier's Never Die

Wounded soldier's never die, for they rest in Me,
Wounded, sometimes shattered, but never destroyed,
They carry, the marks of hatred, shame, and pain, but
the difference is in how they live, is what they proclaim.

Never defeated, never giving up, never trading what
they know, and have, a deep abiding loyalty, to the
King on the throne, and they say, I've overcome, by the
blood of the Lamb, deliverance,and victory, is all mine,
satan you can't have me, for I know in Whom, I have believed,
wounded soldier's never die, for they rest in Me.

Storms of life will always be, but they sing, and shout
the victory, for they are more than conquerors, in Me,
destined for greatness, in all that they will be, showered
with blessings, daily, for there banner they carry high, Oh,
I know that wounded soldier's never die, for they rest in Me.
