I hear a sound, of a distant thunder, could it be the sound,
of an abundance of rain, could it be the Father calling on His
children, stand in the gap, and pray....

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Oh Holy Righteous God, will we hear your call, I hear the sound of the distant thunder,
the cries of Your children, the longing for Your return, Holy Father, You alone, know,
and have heard.

Oh I hear the sound of a distant thunder, could it be the sound,
of an abundance of rain, could it be the Father calling on His
children, stand in the gap, and pray....

May it be we hear today, soften our hearts with this rain, make us pliable
in Your hands, Oh dear God, please heal our land, heal our hearts, let us
pray, Oh, I hear the sound of an abundance of rain.
