The Season Of AwakeningWill There Ever Be Another Song To Sing?Going To The Mountain To PrayEven Though I've Never Seen YouTake A Walk With MeIndex The Streets Of Jerusalemby Caroline Allen - 02:01 on 29 August 2007The street's were crowded that day, merchant's were selling their wares, bleating sheep, and the cries of Roman solidier's, move on it's way too crowded here! Then the cries of hungry children, babies crying, slaves abound, the cracks of the whips, as men cried aloud. Then this crowd grew quiet, and they saw Him from afar, and they thronged Him, and shouted out His name, Jesus, Jesus, we want to see Jesus, and fear, came upon the soldier's, who tried to control, this mass of people, who is this man, that they feel so strong about, this man, that has great follower's whenever He is around, and then this woman, this desperate woman, that got shoved, to the ground, crawled, and manuvered her way, in hopes she too would be found. Crying, and praying, if I could just but touch the hem of his gown, and soon with great faith, and what little strength, she had left, found that when she finally reached Him, she drew, one last big breath, and she grabbed, and caught hold of His woven robe, and knew she was healed, and she felt the blood dry up, and Jesus knowing the virtue had left Him, turned and said, who touched me, finally this woman, that felt healed, and whole, came forth and said, it was I, and Jesus looked down with compassion, and love, and said My child, you are healed, thy faith has brought it nigh.Lisa Beth Jenkins c.2007 All Rights ReservedAdd your comment Please note that whenever you submit something which may be publicly shown on a website you should take care not to make any statements which could be considered defamatory to any person or organisation. | ||
