When God Meets You In The Fire!

When God Meets You In The Fire!

Shadrach,  Meshach,  and Abednego were told to bow down to the king's image and to worship it.  And when they found out that they were not doing so, the report was told the king. The king then grew furious and said is this so?  So great was his anger that his very appearance changed.  I believe that there is  a God given emotion of anger but I also believe that when people are ruled by the god of this earth,  and their flesh, the enemy does something to their appearance and they no longer look the same.  They then become ruled by the enemy of darkness.  That king was ruled by the principalities of darkness, and his visage changed as great was his ire!

In II Timothy 1:7 It says For God hath not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

We are not to be controlled by our flesh but we are to be controlled by the Spirit of the living God.  When these three men were faced with  the  ultimate decision of who they would serve they chose not to bow down to the image of man.  The king declared these men to be bound in their clothes and thrown into the fiery furnace.  Have you been finding yourself bound and in a furnace of fiery trials?

The ultimate test is to keep your eyes on Him and not your circumstances, worship Him, and not the promises, be faithful to Him, read His Word, seek His face more diligently.  When these three men were bound hand and foot they never faltered in their trust in God to deliver!

They went before that King and said even if we perish we will not bow down to your graven image for our God is well able to deliver!  God met them in the fiery furnace of affliction!  For when they looked in that furnace there were four men walking around and no flame touched their garments, no smell of smoke was on their clothes God met them in the Fire!   Trust Him He will meet you there too!
