How far off the beaten path, how far from the alter,
There is a clearing in the way, but many can't see, and falter,
How far are we, from hearing the warnings, all around, the times,
and the seasons, are rumbling out with groans, depraivity, starkness,
where is the Word to be found?


If we hearken not to the clarion call, if we heed not the watchman,
oh what of the night, what of the night, so many warnings, so many
in agreement, but what of verbal assent, if no obedience?


Declarations are grand, My Word is truth, and justice,
But oh My people, are you ready, I will require lost souls
at thy hand, every knee shall bow to Me, and confess to the
Father, are you right with Me, how far from the alter?
