I don't know who I am anymore, I only know that Jesus transforms, I'm so glad that I don't carry the names, I once abhored, all, because of the Lord, I'm so glad, He gave me a new name, a new identity, I am so glad, and I praise, my Lord and King, I'm so glad He makes us into new creatures in Christ, no sins of the past, to chain me to the old life. You see, there was a time when I served only myself, I lived a life of shame, loaded with guilt, Now there are no claims to that past, no more pain, for Jesus came in, and took that all away, Oh I can be free to choose the right paths, His way of life, I can be, Who He says I am, so if you want to say, and have this freedom too, just call on Jesus, and He will make you brand new. I know to Whom I belong to, I know who I am, I am a child of the King, of the Great I AM, I know that I desire to be, all He wants me to be, my mind's been renewed, I've been set free, Oh do you what to say, I don't know who I am anymore, well just knock, and He will open the door, And like me, He will come in, and flood your life with Him, filled with love, mercy, and grace, oh won't you come, and behold His face, and hear Him say, welcome home, you have a new name, a new identity, a new place to live with Me, My child, I've been waiting, for you to see, what I've called you to be.
