Everything He Was Wednesday, February 20, 2008 - 6:45 AM When He was born a Light came into this world, Good News the angels proclaimed, and His purpose was instilled, He grew in wisdom and favor with God, and He set the captives free, blinded eyes and ears were opened, the lame could jump, and leap, the dead were raised, the mute could speak, He taught the greatest commandment, to love the Lord with all your heart, soul, and mind, to love one another, love thy neighbor as thyself, to walk humbly with the Lord, to walk in the power of His might. He taught us how to pray, and how to give, and He taught us the beatitudes, He showed us the Father's love, and taught us Servanthood, Everything He was, glorified the Father, everything He did was of mercy, compassion, and grace, He even showed us correction, by His loving hand, and what it meant to be humble and meek, and honor Him, by His stand. He humbly gave Himself to the dictates of man, and humbly gave His body, for the atoning of our sins, He submitted to the Father, and told us He was the only way to Him, for everything He was, pure the spotless Lamb of God, He lived it out, and showed us the way, yes He was Everything He Was.
